Man Charged With Sexually Motivated Felony For Break-In: Nassau PD

Police say the man broke into a hotel room and made inappropriate remarks to a woman who was staying there.

WESTBURY, NY — A Queens man was arrested Wednesday night after police say he broke into a hotel room and made inappropriate comments to a woman.

According to Nassau County police, Elijah Gregory, 35, of Queens, entered an occupied room of the Red Roof Inn, located at 699 Dibblee Drive in Westbury, at 7:10 p.m. Police say he entered through the door, which was unlocked, and was confronted by a 43-year-old woman and a 71-year-old man.

Police say Gregory made inappropriate remarks to the woman, and then fled the scene. Officers found him after an investigation and placed him under arrest without incident.

Gregory was charged with second-degree burglary and sexually motivated felony. He is scheduled to be arraigned today in First District Court in Hempstead.
