Mesita Opens Second Mexican Restaurant In Garden City

The Garden City modern Mexican eatery joins Mesita in Rockville Centre, with a tequila lounge, bottomless brunches and fresh guacamole.

GARDEN CITY, NY—Mesita opened a second location in Garden City this fall, joining Rockcville Centre, and now the Mexican restaurant is adding bottomless weekend brunches to its offerings. The restaurant, with modern Mexican cuisine and cocktails, took over the former Asian Moon space at 825 Franklin Ave.

Mesita has made-to-order guacamole, a tequila lounge and a variety of margarita types, including a giant 54-ounce margarita designed to share. Tuesdays are Taco Tuesdays with taco specials.

Brunches feature "churro waffles" and unlimited mimosas from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
