Motorcyclist Dies In Collision With Car: Nassau Police
Police say the motorcyclist hit the car and was killed in the crash.
SOUTH HEMPSTEAD, NY — Police are investigating after a motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a car in South Hempstead Thursday night.
According to police, 28-year-old Sherif Wheeler, of Baldwin, was driving a 2009 Honda motorcycle north on Grand Avenue when he collided with a 2019 Acura sedan heading west on Village Avenue. Wheeler was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
The driver of the car, a 28-year-old woman, was uninjured.
