Big Band Senior Citizen Dance Concert: Garden City School District resident senior citizens are invited to enjoy the sounds of Frank Benvenuto and the Village Music Makers Wednesday, Oct. 30, from 8 to 10 p.m. in the Garden City High School cafeteria. The evening’s entertainment is free but residents must register their attendance by mail or in-person to the Office of Continuing Education (478-1070) at the Administration Building, 56 Cathedral Avenue, during regular business hours.

Photo Exhibit: The Tanners Pond Environmental Center's Bird Sanctuary is sponsoring a juried photography exhibit in collaboration with the Nature & Wildlife Photographers of Long Island Club at the Garden City Public Library beginning Friday. Nov. 1. The exhibition will be on view in the library's gallery and showcases through Nov. 28.
