Police ID Teen Killed In Nassau McDonald's Shooting
Police say the 19-year-old was targeted by the shooter. Anyone with information is asked to come forward.

HEMPSTEAD, NY — Police have identified the 19-year-old who was shot to death outside of a Hempstead McDonald's earlier this week.
According to police, multiple shots were fired in the parking lot of the McDonald's located at 340 Peninsula Blvd. in Hempstead at 3:48 p.m. When police arrived, they found 19-year-old Hector Manuel Valencia Gomez, of Hempstead, who had been shot multiple times. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to Newsday, Gomez was a graduated of Hempstead High School who was targeted in the attack.

Police are asking anyone with information about this shooting to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
