Police Searching For Missing Nassau 12-Year-Old
Valeria Chavez was last seen leaving her home Wednesday, Nassau County police say.
HEMPSTEAD, NY — Police are searching for a 12-year-old girl last seen leaving her home in Hempstead.
Valeria Chavez was last seen leaving her home around 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nassau County police said. Her destination wasn't immediately known.
Detectives described her as standing 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighing 155 pounds. She has brown and blonde hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white sweatshirt, black pajama pants, and red and white colored sneakers.
