PSEG Long Island Starts Program Aimed At Seniors

It started this month with a safety presentation in Glen Cove.

UNIONDALE, NY — PSEG Long Island is launching a new program to inform seniors about various topics, including scam protection.

Senior Connections will be held in partnership with community-based organizations, libraries and schools.

"We created this Senior Connections program to enhance our commitment to older adults in the community," said Michael Presti, PSEG Long Island’s director of Customer Experience and Marketing. "This free program will provide important information to help seniors stay safe and save money at locations that are convenient for them to attend."

Those in attendance will also learn about storm preparation, electric safety, energy efficiency and financial assistance.

The program began this month with a safety presentation at the YMCA in Glen Cove. Upcoming events are scheduled for Huntington and New Hyde Park.
