Assemblyman Ra to Participate in Youth Services Summit
Roundtable will discuss youth service programs that are working and those that require improvement and brainstorm ways local legislators can assist.

The Long Island Assembly Republican delegation is hosting a youth services summit roundtable Wednesday.
Assembly members, including Ed Ra, who now represents Garden City, will hear testimony from representatives of local school districts, summer camps, counseling centers, charities and other neighborhood organizations helping Long Island children.
The roundtable is taking place between 1 and 4 p.m. at Farmingdale State College, in the Campus Center Ballroom located at 2350 Broadhollow Road in Farmingdale.
Representatives of more than 30 community outreach organizations are expected to participate, including Theresa Regnante, president and CEO of United Way of Long Island; Jeffrey Reynolds, Ph.D., executive director of the L.I. Council on Alcoholism & Drugs Dependence; Linda Leonard, executive director of the Long Island Crisis Center; Margaret Martinez Malito, executive director of the Nassau County Youth Board; and Claire McKeon, executive director of the Town of Babylon Youth Services.
