Rain Could Dampen New Year's Eve Plans For Long Island
If you're going to be celebrating outdoors, make sure you dress for the wet weather.
LONG ISLAND, NY — If you're going to be heading to Times Square to ring in the new year, make sure you bring an umbrella.
Although festivities at the country's most popular New Year's Eve celebration will be happening without restrictions this year, Mother Nature may try to limit the crowds herself. The National Weather Service says it's going to start raining Saturday afternoon, and continue all through the night.
Thankfully, temperatures will be warm, with a low of only 46 for New Year's Eve. But if you're going to be outdoors, make sure you plan for the weather.
