Solar Eclipse Viewing Party at Cradle Of Aviation Museum
The eclipse takes place during the afternoon of April 8.
GARDEN CITY, NY — Astronomers of all ages, make your plans with a solar viewing party solar eclipse.
As part of the April 8 eclipse, the Cradle of Aviation Museum will distribute free glasses to view the magical moment in the sky.
Students will enjoy STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) activities, including how to make a pinhole projector and learning why the earth and moon look the same.

The solar eclipse begins at 2:12 p.m., reaches its maximum at 3:26 p.m. and concludes at 4:37 p.m.
The Cradle of Aviation Museum is open from 10 a.m.- 5 p.m.
