West Nile Treatment, WPOA Meeting Today
What's happening today in Garden City and on Garden City Patch.

West Nile Treatment: To help combat the spread of West Nile virus, localized truck treatment of adulticide in targeted areas throughout the county begins Tuesday evening at 8 p.m., according to the Nassau County Health Department. The treatment was supposed to take place Sept. 12 but was canceled due to rain. Read more here.
WPOA Meeting: The next general meeting of the Western Property Owners Association (WPOA) is Tuesday beginning at 7:30 p.m. at Homestead School. Special guest John Wilton, chairman of the Chamber of Commerce Merchant Professional and Retail Group, will speak about the "health and growth" of the village’s business areas.
