Woman Slashed In Face At Roosevelt Field Mall, Man At Large: Police
The man fled the scene after injuring the woman, police say.
GARDEN CITY, NY — A man who slashed and injured a woman in Roosevelt Field Mall on Monday is still sought after by Nassau County Police.
At about 4:20 p.m., the 20-year-old woman was walking on the mall's second floor when a man struck her with a knife.
The man then fled the scene, police said.

The woman suffered a large laceration to her left cheek and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, police said.
