Man In Critical Condition After Jump Into East River: NYPD
A witness saw the man jump off the Skyport Marina in Gramercy Thursday morning. He was pulled from the waters barely breathing.

GRAMERCY, NY — A man is in critical condition after diving into the East River off of Gramercy's Skyport Marina Thursday morning.
Police pulled the barely-breathing man from the waters off of 23rd Street and FDR Drive at about 9:14 a.m. The unresponsive man was rushed to Bellevue Hospital in critical condition. He remained in serious condition as of Thursday evening, authorities said.
A witness told police they saw the man jump into the waters off of the Skyport Marina, which is used as a dock for party boats and cruise tours of the city.
