Man's Body Pulled From East River Near Stuy Town: NYPD

A 911 caller spotted the man's body on the shoreline of the East River off of Gramercy Monday morning, police said.

GRAMERCY, NY — A man’s body was discovered floating in the East River off Gramercy early Monday morning, police said.

A 911 caller spotted the body on the East River's shoreline at about 7 a.m. near E. 20th Street and FDR Drive. The man was removed to Bellevue Hospital where he was pronounced dead on the scene, cops said.

Police are still working to identify the man, who did not have ID on him when he was found.
