Misty Copeland To Speak At Union Square Barnes & Noble
Ballerina Misty Copeland will discuss her new book at the Union Square Barnes & Noble on Tuesday night.

UNION SQUARE, NY — Ballerina Misty Copeland will be speaking about her new book at the Union Square Barnes & Noble on Tuesday night.
Copeland's new book, Ballerina Body: Dancing and Eating Your Way to a Leaner, Stronger, and More Graceful You, officially hit the shelves on Tuesday. The world-famous ballet dancer will discuss the book with Damaris Lewis at Barnes & Noble before signing copies. You can attend the event, which begins at 7 p.m., by purchasing a copy of the book at the Union Square location, 33 East 17th Street. The bookstore says a limited number of wristbands are available with the purchase of the book.
The book is Copeland's first health and fitness book, and it includes workout routines, meal plans, and other advice on getting a ballerina's body. Ballerina Body is Copeland's third book. She has also published a children's book and a memoir.

Copeland started her career as a teen-aged prodigy, and later became the first African-American female principal dancer for the American Ballet Theatre.
