Naked Trump Statue Auctioned Off In Los Angeles for $22,000
"The Emperor Has No Balls" was a hit at the street art auction.

UNION SQUARE, NY — A version of the naked Donald Trump statue that appeared in Union Square this summer was auctioned off in Los Angeles on Monday for $22,000, a price way higher than auctioneers thought it would go for, Art Daily reported.
The statue, created by anonymous art collective INDECLINE in collaboration with the artist Joshua Monroe, was a grotesque plastic version of Trump's naked body complete with a micropenis that shocked the world. It was called "The Emperor Has No Balls," and there were five replicas of it placed around the country on Aug. 19.

The naked Trump replica that was placed in LA was auctioned off there the night of Oct. 22 at Julien's Auctions' "Street Art and Contemporary Art" auction. It's a replica of the statue that gathered gawking crowds at Union Square the same day. INDECLINE spent $5,000 to make five naked Trump statues that they placed in strategic locations around the country.

The Trump in Union Square actually inspired a sculpture of naked Hillary Clinton by artist Anthony Scioli that appeared twice in Manhattan in the past few weeks called "The Empress Has No Shame."
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of "The Emperor Has No Balls" at Julien's Auctions will benefit the National Immigration Forum, Art Daily reported.
