VIDEO: Man Beats Chest After Smashing Synagogue Glass

The man shattered the glass at an E. 29th Street synagogue, video shows.

KIPS BAY, NY — A man smashed a glass message board at an East Side synagogue and celebrated by beating his chest and fist bumping his buddy.

The vandal was walking on E. 29th Street near Lexington Avenue at 11 p.m. on Nov. 10 when he suddenly smashed his elbow through the glass message board of orthodox synagogue Congregation Adereth El, the video shows.

He continues to walk along the street and beats his chests with his fists before fist bumping his friend in celebration.

Authorities are searching for man who was last seen wearing a dark, hooded sweatshirt, jacket, pants and light-colored sneakers.
