Watch Pranksters Turn A Subway Elevator Into A Fake Apple Store
The comedy group Improv Everywhere turned a subway elevator into a fake Apple store.

FLATIRON, NY — A professional group of pranksters turned a subway elevator in Flatiron into a glass-walled Apple store, complete with fake customers waiting in line for the latest iPhone.
Comedians with the group Improv Everywhere noticed that the glass walled elevator at the 23rd Street station on the 6 line looked like a mini-version of Apple's iconic store on Fifth Avenue in Midtown, which is currently down for renovations. The group, which conducts elaborate pranks throughout New York City, decided to create a fake Apple store in Flatiron.
The pranksters worked quickly to add Apple logos to the elevator, and even brought a crew of fake Apple employees and fake customers waiting in line for Apple's latest gadget. The fake customers who were taken down into the depths of the MTA were given an Apple shopping bag and an empty iPhone box.
