Back-To-School Drive Held In Great Neck Area Through Aug. 24

GREAT NECK, NY — Nassau County Legislator Ellen W. Birnbaum (D-Great Neck) is sponsoring a back-to-school drive for elementary school students.

The drive will run through Aug. 24 at the following locations:

• Great Neck Library - Main Branch — 159 Bayview Ave., Great Neck
• Great Neck Library - Parkville Branch — 10 Campbell St., New Hyde Park
• Great Neck Library - Lakeville Branch — 475 Great Neck Rd., Great Neck
• Manhasset-Lakeville Fire & Water District Office — 170 East Shore Rd., Great Neck (weekdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.)
• Shelter Rock Public Library — 165 Searingtown Rd., Albertson

The following items are requested:

• Glue sticks
• Notebooks
• Colored markers
• No. 2 pencils
• Colored pencils
• Binders
• Backpacks
• Folders
• Crayons

School supplies can be picked up at 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 26 at the Manhasset-Lakeville Fire Department (2 Community Drive East, Manhasset).
