Burglary At Speedway In Westbury, Man Used Crowbar: Police

WESTBURY, NY — A commercial burglary occurred at a gas station in Westbury early Tuesday morning, police said.
Nassau County police said officers responded to Speedway Gas Station on Merrick Avenue, and upon arrival, it was determined that a man had broken the front door with a crowbar at approximately 4:33 a.m.
After further investigation, it was revealed that an unknown amount of money was removed from a register in the store, police said.

The man fled the scene on foot, and the investigation is ongoing, NCPD said.
