MLK Shabbat Service at Historic Temple
On January 16 at 7 p.m., Dr. Bill Tinglin will speak at Temple Beth-El of Great Neck’s annual MLK Shabbat service. This service will commemorate Dr. King's historic civil rights speech presented at Temple Beth-El in the 1960s. As the reverend’s important words continue to resonate with the synagogue, the community and the country, Temple Beth-El is honored to once again welcome the entire community to memorialize Dr. King and continue sharing his message—which is as relevant today as it was many years ago. This event is free and is open to the Long Island community. Temple Beth-El is located at 5 Old Mill Road in Great Neck.
I hope you will find value in publicizing this very special event. In the past, speakers such as Attorney General Letitia James, Governor Kathy Hochul and others have spoken at this important event. I'm happy to provide additional information or discuss how you can help share this information with the community.
