Carbon Monoxide Poisoning At Religious Camp In Great Neck: Reports

Multiple people were treated for carbon monoxide poisoning at the Chabad of Great Neck on Tuesday.

GREAT NECK, NY — About a dozen people, most of them teenagers, were exposed to carbon monoxide at a religious camp in Great Neck, according to multiple reports.

It happened early Tuesday at the Chabad of Great Neck, located at 440 East Shore Rd.

Citing officials, News 12 said a dozen girls were treated at the scene, and one 17-year-old was brought to North Shore University Hospital for treatment. The cause of the carbon monoxide is said to be from the building's malfunctioning heating system.
