Covid-19 Nasal Swab & Antibody Testing Offered in Roslyn Heights
Passport Health announces the addition of the COVID-19 Nasal Swab Test for travelers and individuals returning to work and school.

ROSLYN HEIGHTS, NEW YORK — Passport Health New York is pleased to announce that they are now offering the COVID-19 nasal swab test to travelers who need proof of a negative Covid-19 test or a Fit-to-Fly Certificate for travel. The nasal swab test is also available for individuals in need of a negative test result in order to return to the workforce. They also offer the IgG Antibody Test at their Roslyn Heights location.
The PCR nasal swab test is sent to either LabCorp or Enzo Labs for processing. Both tests are authorized by the FDA under EUA guidelines.
COVID-19 IgG antibody testing, also known as serology testing, checks for a type of antibody called immunoglobulin G (IgG). If you have been exposed to the virus that causes COVID-19, your body typically produces IgG antibodies as part of the immune response to the virus.

Blood drawn at their office will be sent to LabCorp, which utilizes the Abbott and Roche COVID-19 IgG antibody test. This antibody test is most reliable when used more than 3 weeks after the end of symptoms and is for individuals who think they may have had COVID-19 and do not currently have symptoms.
Testing is by appointment only and you can schedule by calling 516-626-2004. The test should be covered by insurance and co-pays can be determined at the time of scheduling.
