• Greenport Continues to Push Southold For CPF Funding (eastendbeacon.com) — Greenport officials are pressing Southold Town to direct more Community Preservation Fund money into village projects, especially sewer extensions, stormwater fixes, and historic sites. With Greenport designated a disadvantaged community, village leaders argue state law now requires a share of CPF revenue be spent locally and are heading to upcoming town meetings to push for concrete commitments. 
• Employee Accused Of Stealing Funds From Greenport Business: Police (patch.com) — Police say a Greenport business is at the center of a larceny investigation, with a former employee accused of stealing funds during her time there. Southold Town detectives, working with the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, are asking anyone with information or possible losses tied to this Greenport business to contact their detective division.
