• Tompkins County Government Building Design Unveiled (tompkinsweekly.com) — Groton residents are being asked for final input on Tompkins County’s new Center of Government in downtown Ithaca, a $64 million, all‑electric building planned to open by 2029. After earlier town halls in Groton and other towns, the county is running a third survey through Dec. 31 to refine the building’s design, sustainability features, and how services will be consolidated for easier public access.
