Dix Hills Firefighters Recognized For Service
Three members were each presented proclamations on behalf of Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone
Three ex-chiefs of the Dix Hills Fire Department were recently recognized for their outstanding service.
Steve Kamvakis, Phil Tepe, Jr. and Robert Fling were each presented proclamations on behalf of Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone at the department's 70th Annual Installation Dinner.
Kamvakis and Tepe were both recognized for 50 years of service. Fling was honored for serving as chief of department from 2015 to 2016.
