Voters Approve Half Hollow Hills Budget, Elect Trustees

Residents headed to the polls Tuesday to vote on a school budget and elect board members.

Half Hollow Hills residents approved a 2018-19 school budget on Tuesday.

The $253,611,084 budget passed with 649 yes votes and 307 no votes, according to the school district. The budget is a 2.24 percent spending increase over the current year and it comes with a 2.47 percent tax levy increase.

Residents also re-elected Stephanie Gurin and Adam Kleinberg, who ran unopposed, to the Half Hollow Hills Board of Education.
