Hooters To Open on Route 110 In July

Wing chain grand opening set for July 10.

A new Hooters location is coming to the Route 110 corridor early in July, giving local diners yet another option along the much-traveled roadway.

Farmingdale Patch reported that the restaurant, best known for its southern-styled wings, will open July 10.

“We’re very excited,” said Hector Rodgriguez, the restaurant’s general manager, who was previously director of operations for the Strix Restaurant Group, which managed three Long Island Hooters locations before shuttering them in 2012.

He noted the grand opening was pushed back a few days as pending health permits and inspections needed to be complete.
