Pickup Truck Catches Fire In Melville Parking Lot

A pickup truck caught fire in a corporate parking lot in Melville on Thursday, July 6, fire officials say.

The Melville Fire Department responded to the fully involved fire in the parking lot of Estee Lauder, located on Corporate Center Drive, at 11:10 a.m. Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the blaze.

No injuries were reported.

Firefighters were on the scene with two engines and an ambulance

All units were under the direction of Chief Jason Bernfeld and Third Assistant Chief Bill Schmitt.
