About 51 customers scattered around Huntington were without power Sunday morning as gusty winds continued to hit the area.
Most of the outages were reported in Halesite and Huntington Station. The Long Island Power Authority estimated that power should be restored by about noon.
LIPA said power outages could be reported online or by calling 800-490-0075 or 631-755-6900.
The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory Saturday that continues until 6 p.m. Sunday, warning of winds from 20 to 35 mph with gusts around 45 mph.
