Craig Schackner headed home the eventual game-winning goal to break a 1-1 tie and lead the Knights to a 2-1 victory over visiting Ithaca Saturday in their home opener at Saratoga Field.
He converted a cross into the box from junior midfielder Connor Beisner in the 66th minute to send the Knights to victory. Schackner, who graduated from Half Hollow Hills West, is a senior forward.
