• NY AG finds police shooting legally justified (nydailyrecord.com) — State investigators have ruled that a February 2024 fatal shooting by Hamburg Police was legally justified under New York’s use-of-force law, following a stabbing and break-in reports near town homes. The report notes officers lacked body cameras at the time, but confirms Hamburg Police have since been trained and equipped with them as of June 2024.
