HARLEM, NY — The man accused of killing an innocent Uber driver during a botched robbery on a Harlem street corner was arrested on Thursday, nearly three months after the shooting, police said.

Joselito Domena, 23, faces charges including murder and attempted murder for the Sept. 4 incident, which killed 21-year-old Kuldip Singh and also wounded a 15-year-old boy.

The shooting happened around 9:45 p.m. that night, near the corner of West 131st Street and Frederick Douglass Boulevard. Video released by police appears to show two people walking up to an idling car, then shots being fired from inside the vehicle, causing one of the people to fall to the ground and others to flee the car.

Singh, a resident of Richmond Hill, Queens, was pronounced dead at a hospital three days later, police said. His distraught parents told the Daily News that their son was in his second month as an Uber driver, calling him "a great kid."

Domena, a Bronx resident, was first identified as a suspect in late October. His arrest came only after Domena turned himself in at the NYPD's 32nd Precinct in Harlem Thursday morning, the New York Post reported.
