Broad Daylight Harlem Shooter Is Sought By Police
Police are looking for a gunman seen on video shooting at another man on a Harlem street in the middle of the afternoon.

HARLEM, NY — Police asked for help finding the gunman in a broad daylight shooting in Harlem that happened earlier this summer.
The incident unfolded around 4:20 p.m. on July 27, near the corner of Fifth Avenue and West 126th Street.
Footage released by police shows the gunman chasing another man past the corner deli and down 126th Street, firing multiple shots as he runs. After a few seconds, the gunman reverses course and flees back toward Fifth Avenue.

The victim, a 34-year-old man, was shot in the left leg and taken to Harlem Hospital in stable condition, police said.

Police also released surveillance images this week showing closer views of the alleged gunman, and asked anyone with information to call the NYPD Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). People can also submit tips online or on Twitter, @NYPDTips.
