Man Killed At West Harlem Housing Complex In Daylight Shooting

A 32-year-old man was ambushed and shot in broad daylight Monday across from a Harlem public housing complex, police said.

HARLEM, NY — A man was shot and killed in broad daylight Monday in front of a West Harlem public housing complex, according to police.

Devin Campbell, 32, was shot around 7:24 p.m. on West 125th Street, across from the Grant Houses, where he lived, according to police.

Campbell was stepping out of his car when an unknown shooter in a gray vehicle ambushed him with gunfire and then drove away, the Daily News reported.

Campbell was rushed to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police have not made any arrests, but an investigation is ongoing.
