Man Shot In Harlem Dies In Hospital, Police Say
A 31-year-old man was shot on a Harlem street and died in a nearby hospital early Monday, police said.

HARLEM, NY — A man in his thirties was pronounced dead at Harlem Hospital on Monday after he had been shot a few blocks away, police said.
Tamel Jackson-Breland, a 31-year-old resident of Middletown, N.Y., was shot sometime late Tuesday or early Monday on West 140th Street near Frederick Douglass Boulevard, police said.
Jackson-Breland suffered gunshot wounds to the back and was taken to the hospital by private means, police said. He was pronounced dead sometime before 2:30 a.m.
