Man Stabbed On Harlem Subway Platform: Police

A man was stabbed on the platform of the 125th Street-Lenox Avenue station Wednesday morning, police said. The suspect is at large.

HARLEM, NY — A man was stabbed Wednesday morning at a Harlem subway station, police said.

The stabbing happened around 7:46 a.m. at the 125th Street-Lenox Avenue station on the northbound platform, police said.

The unidentified male victim was stabbed in the leg and buttocks, police said. He was rushed to Lenox Hill Hospital, and was expected to survive.

The suspect, described only as a man wearing all-black clothes, fled to an unknown location.

Northbound 2 and 3 trains were briefly bypassing the station while police investigated the stabbing, but resumed normal stops just before 9 a.m., according to the MTA.
