Mom Slashes Teen Who Tased Her Daughter At E Harlem School: NYPD
The mother of a 13-year-old student at East Harlem's PS 96 is accused of slashing a girl outside the school.

EAST HARLEM, NY — A mom slashed a teenage girl outside an East Harlem public school after a fight in which the victim tased the woman's daughter, police said.
The mother was arrested around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at PS 96 on East 120th Street between Second and Third avenues, an NYPD spokesman said. Witnesses told police that the 14-year-old slashing victim was arguing with the mother's 13-year-old daughter outside the school.
The argument escalated into violence when the 14-year-old pulled a stun gun and tased the other girl, police said.

The girl who was slashed refused medical attention at the scene of the fight, an NYPD spokesman said.
"NYPD and EMS immediately responded to this incident, which occurred outside of the building after dismissal. We will work closely with the NYPD as they conduct a thorough investigation, and provide additional safety and counseling support to the school," Department of Education spokeswoman Miranda Barbot said in a statement.
