Repairs To Disrupt Overnight Train Service In Harlem For 3 Weeks
The MTA will be conducting FASTRACK repairs for three straight weeks at 2 and 3 train stations in Harlem and the Bronx.

HARLEM, NY — The Metropolitan Transit Authority will conduct FASTRACK overnight repair work on the Uptown Manhattan 2 and 3 lines for three weeks starting Monday, Aug. 6, the transit authority announced.
Both train lines will experience overnight service suspensions during the work period — the weeks of Aug. 6-10, Aug. 13-17 and Aug. 20-24 — transit officials said. During these weeks 2 trains will not run between Third Avenue-149th Street and 96th Street and the entire 3 train line will be suspended from the hours of 9:30 p.m. and 5 a.m., transit officials said.
Workers will complete tasks such as replacing of track, third rail, electrical and signal components, debris removal, repairing tunnel infrastructure, painting, platform work and repairing signage, lighting fixtures and ADA components, the MTA announced.
