Robbers Don Wigs For Harlem Bodega Stick Up, Police Say
Two men wearing long black wigs are wanted for robbing a Harlem bodega at gunpoint.

HARLEM, NY — Two men with a penchant for elaborate disguises are wanted for robbing a Harlem bodega at gunpoint, police said.
Two robbers donning long black wigs tucked underneath hoodies barged into Gourmet Deli on Fifth Avenue near West 119th Street shortly after 4 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 23 to rob the business, police said. One of the men threatened the store's clerk with a silver handgun while the other robbed went around the counter and looted the cash register, police said.
The robbers fled the scene with $1,000 in cash and the clerk's iPhone and car keys, police said. The bodega worker was not injured during the robbery.

Police released photos of the two robbers taken by a security camera in the store. Photos show that the two men's faces were concealed by tufts of fake black hair sticking out from the robbers' hoodies. Both men have medium builds and were last seen wearing hoodies, police said.
