Stick-Up-Man Robs East Harlem Resident In Building Entrance: NYPD

A man was threatened with a gun and robbed as he entered his apartment building.

EAST HARLEM, NY — The NYPD is trying to identify a man wanted for a gunpoint robbery that occurred in the entrance to an East Harlem apartment building, police said.

A 29-year-old East Harlem resident was entering his Second Avenue and East 104th Street building on Sunday morning when he was approached by an unknown man in the building vestibule, police said. The man pulled a gun, threatened the resident and searched his pockets, police said.

The stick-up-man fled the scene after stealing the victim's wallet, which contained $150 in cash and credit cards, and his Samsung cellphone, police said. No injuries were reported as a result of the robbery.

Police released a photo of the suspect (seen above) taken by a security camera near the site of the robbery.
