See photos (lohud.com) — A 1994 mudslide on the Dobbs Ferry–Hastings-on-Hudson border sent debris onto all four Hudson Line tracks and derailed a northbound Metro-North train, injuring six riders. Heavy rain, snowmelt, and drainage work at a nearby hillside home were blamed, and Metro-North later pursued legal action over the damage and cleanup costs.
