Babysitting Course at Hauppauge Library
Students in grades 6 through 12 are invited to participate.
Babysitting a great side job for teens looking for extra pocket money, but when kids and watching kids, it's always good to know the basics of child care. that's where the Hauppauge Public Library's babysitting course comes in.
According to the library, the class is designed to help teens develop the skills necessary for the responsibility of being a babysitter including child safety, developmental stages of children and how to plan activities that are age appropriate.
Hands-on activities and course certification from Cornell Cooperative Extensionare included for attending.

The course takes place March 27 from 5 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. in the Community Room.
Pizza will be served starting at 5:00pm and the class starts promptly at 5:30pm.
