Brick-It Moves; Fundraiser Postponed

  • Hauppauge business moves: Brick It, one of the largest stocking distributors of thin brick in the United States, has moved to 17 Central Ave., Hauppauge.
  • Fundraiser postponed: Due to forecasts of inclement weather, the first-ever annual “Studebakers, Stangs & Stingrays Classic Car Show and Swap Meet” Fundraiser benefiting The Rose Brucia Educational Foundation that was to be hosted by Novak Motors at its headquarters has been postponed until Aug. 4 at Novak Motors' headquarters, 1818 Pacific St. in Hauppauge, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. All proceeds will benefit The Rose Brucia Educational Foundation's work to reduce the number of child abductions in the United States by empowering young minds through awareness and education.
  • Smithtown Historical Society’s 80’s Dance Party: Get together with old friends and join the Smithtown Historical Society for a Dance Party celebrating all things 1980's. Go back to a time when BIG drama in your life simply meant BIG hair, Boom Boxes, & MTV Vote for King & Queen of the Prom (Best Costume Contest), try your luck at 80's Trivia, a chance on a raffle prize, or the 50/50. The party will take place at the Smithtown Elks Lodge, 120 Edgewood Ave., Smithtown.
