Fairfield Plans Renovation Project at Newly Acquired Office Park
Renovations under way at cluster of buildings formerly known as The Woodlands.
The Hauppauge office park formerly known as The Woodlands has a new owner, a new moniker – and soon will have a fresh, new look as well, thanks to a major renovation project already under way.
Located at 700, 750 and 800 Veterans Memorial Highway and now known as Fairfield Office Park, the office park will get new lobbies, hallways, bathrooms and landscaping, according to Fairfield leasing broker John La Ruffa, S.I.O.R. There will even be a paved walking path surrounding the buildings for employees to use to exercise.
"It's a great location that needed the proper ownership to bring it back up to speed," La Ruffa said.
Suites ranging from 1,000 square feet to 14,000 square feet are available, with rents between $19 and $22 per square foot plus electricity and a "turnkey" work letter for new tenants who can have office space built to suit their needs.
Fairfield acquired The Woodlands in a foreclosure scenario three months ago for $7.95 million, according to a National Real Estate Investor report.
Fairfield is well known across Long Island for its residential complexes, although La Ruffa said the company is "also actively looking to increase its commercial portfolio."
