Farmers Market
Teachers Federal Credit Union, 102 Motor Pkwy., hosts a farmers market in its parking lot, every Thursday from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. Head down for farm, fresh food.
Comedy Fundraiser
Laugh for a cause this coming Sunday. Central Islip Hauppauge Volunteer Ambulance is hosting a comedy show Aug. 25 at 2 p.m at McGuire's (1627 Smithtown Ave., Bohemia NY 11716). Doors open at noon - please arrive by 1:30 p.m. Tickets will not be sold at the door. Tickets are $20.00 and all proceeds will go right to CIHVA directly. Employment Open House
DDI is hosting an employment open house thursday from noon until 2 p.m. at 99 Hollywood Blvd., Smithtown. High School diploma/GED/NYS Driver's License required for most positions.
