FroYo Fundraiser, Farmers Market For the Week Ahead in Hauppauge

Here's what's happening this week in Hauppauge.

Welcome to another Monday. Here are a few things to take with you as you begin the new week.

Re-dedication Ceremony of the Peter McCann Gillard Room
Join The Smithtown Library in celebrating the re-dedication of the 
Peter McCann Gillard Community Room Wednesday at the Smithtown Main Building, at 11:30 a.m.. Gillard was Library Director from 1978 to 1988. 

Smithtown Summer Concert Series
Eagles tribute band Desert Highway will take the stage Thursday as part of the Smithtown Library's summer concert series. Show starts at 8 p.m.on the front lawn of the Smithtown Library Main building. Concert goers should bring a chair or blanket to sit on.

Farmers Market
Starting at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, shoppers can find fresh produce including a variety of fruits and vegetables at TFCU (102 Motor Pkwy., Haupauge). Then, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., a new wave of vendors, offering everything from fresh crepes, to wines, seafood, breads and more, will be on site. Stop for the fresh, local goods. 

Pizza Fundraiser
The Cleary School for the Deaf is having a flavorful fundraiser at California Pizza Kitchen at the Smith Haven Mall on Wednesday from 11 a.m.- 10 p.m.

The Cleary School for the Deaf is a non-profit organization providing educational services for children with hearing impairments from birth through 21.  Donations make it possible for us to offer outstanding programs for the children that we serve from our surrounding communities.

Fundraiser For Nesconset Downtown Revitalization Project
Nesconset Swirls and Twirls self-serve frozen yogurt shop will be hosting a fundraiser for the Nesconset Downtown Revitalization Project on Wednesday, from 11 a.m.-6 p.m..  During that time, show your support for the project and receive ten-percent off your purchase by texting “OURTOWN” to 516 279-3799.  Proceeds during the event hours will directly benefit the Nesconset Downtown Revitalization Project.
