1 Dead In Crash On Northern State Parkway Early Christmas Morning: Report

DIX HILLS, NY — An early morning crash involving a large commercial truck on the Northern State Parkway in Dix Hills on Christmas morning, the New York State police told Newsday.

The crash happened at about 6:24 a.m. on the eastbound side of the parkway, east of Exit 41, Wolf Hill Road, prompting the troopers to divert all eastbound traffic for hours, the outlet reported.

The driver of the truck died, according to the outlet.
