Hauppauge 2024-25 School Budget Passes Handily

HAUPPAUGE, NY — Residents within the boundaries of the Hauppauge School District on Tuesday voted to pass the 2024-25 school budget by a margin of 584 votes to 278.
The district's budget is $133,216,224, up 3.48 percent from last year's. The tax levy is
$96,686,000, up 3.38 percent.
Catherine Collins and Brian Michels ran unopposed for the Hauppauge Board of Education. Collins got 583 votes while Michels got 574. The terms run three years each.
