Hauppauge Celebrates Boys Varsity Baseball Team’s 'Magnificent Season'

HAUPPAUGE, NY — The Hauppauge Fire Department paraded the Hauppauge High School boys varsity baseball team from the district office to the high school on June 12, allowing the community a chance to cheer the team on after its great season, the school district announced.

The team competed at the New York State Championships in Binghamton on June 7.

Afterward, a reception was held in their honor, and NYS Sen. Mario Mattera personally addressed the boys, offering proclamations.
